A few observations as we near the three-month milestone of this adventure.

1. I gorged on procrastination when it came to launching this blog. Who ever said “progress over perfection” clearly did not have a Type A personality.
2. Two trips to Punxsutawney, PA and one to Madison, NC (our hometowns) dampened the overall feeling of adventure. While relaxing, fun and filled with pure joy to see family so often, three trips to our hometowns made it seem like we never really left.
3. We are geniuses. Obviously. This is THE smartest decision of our lives. Why more people are not drinking this Kool-Aid is beyond me. It is stressful yet liberating. Exhausting yet utterly amazing. It is everything we thought it would be and more.
4. We are home. 
5. SHIT…How has it been three months? As cliche as it sounds, time flies when you are having fun.
